As stated in our church covenant, our purpose in ministry outreach is to encourage family and personal devotions; to religiously educate our children; to seek the salvation of our friends and acquaintances; to walk as Jesus walked in the world; to be just in our dealings, faithful in our engagements, and exemplary in our conduct. It is our commitment to the Lord to be obedient to His commandments.

It is our task to edify the body of Christ and to be zealous in our efforts to advance the kingdom of our Savior. One of the avenues we accomplish this is through our minsitries to the church body and outreaches to the local community.

If you, as a member of Colonial Baptist Church, have an new ministry idea or burden to start a new outreach at Colonial Baptist, please contact Pastor Larry Marvel or Pastor Mike Winter.

In fulfilling the great commission(Matthew 28:19) we seek to have a well rounded involvement in missions.

We use a faith promise system of raising support for missionaries and mission organizations. We also promote many short term mission trips and hands on projects within our communities. Our focus on missions is equally shared by our youth group, Firestarters. Click here for more information on their up-coming Georgia Missions Trip in July 2008.

Please contact Craig Carson to get involved in our missions outreach. To view our current missionaries click here.

One of the greatest needs of women today is relationships. With the pressures of raising a family, often working outside the home, it can be difficult to build meaningful relationships / friendships that encourage our walk with Christ. Our ladies ministry provides regular opportunities to connect with other women through Bible study, ladies nights out, pool and pray ,and many other outlets,as they seek to build unity in Christ.

Please contact Martha Marvel to get involved in our Ladies Ministries.

The college years can be a whirlwind of papers, exams, and social. Sometimes, it is nice to have a church community to help and come along side for support. The College and Career Ministry of Colonial Baptist is a growing, active, and passionate group of college students from all walks of life. What you'll find at FIRST College Ministry is a group of friends who will treat you like family. It's a place where you can feel at home, a place where you belong and it's a place where you can feed your soul.

Please contact Josh Reed or Steve Ackley to get involved in our College and Career Ministry
