Our
mission at Colonial Baptist Church is Jesus
Christ: a purpose to live for; a people to live with; principles
to live by; a profession to live out and a power to live on.
This mission is carried out in ourYouth Program, Firestarters
(igniting the flame for Christ in the hearts of others),
by working along side the parents for the good of their teens,
the heath of their home and church, and the fulfilling of
the Great Commisson given by our Lord:
"Go Ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the
Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever
I have command you: and lo, I am with you alway, even unto
the end of the world."
Matthew
28:19-20
As well as the great commandment:
"Jesus said unto him, 'Thou shalt love the Lord your
God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all
thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the
second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.'"
Matthew 22:37-40

Firestarters
is a fast growing ministry in our church meeting on Wednesday
evenings at 6:30 PM in the newly redesigned youthroom. The time
is filled with worship, Bible study, fellowship, games and enriching
growth. From our dedicated youth volunteers, to a Bible centralized
curriculum (student life Bible study), to our focused Youth
Minister, Mike Winter, the Firestarters at Colonial Baptist
Church is a deep and wide ministry that can positively
change the life of your teen.
Our teens use materials from "Dare2Share" Ministries
during our Sunday youth fellowship (9:30 AM), of which we attended
the yearly conference this year with our teens and have seen
God's guidance and blessing in their lives. If you would like
more information on our youth ministry contact Pastor Mike Winter
at the church office (937) 882-6903 or email at winters4Jesus@sbcglobal.net.
